Chapter 1: Buying

Author's Notes: Hope you guys enjoy ready as much as I do writing

“Hmmm…. Which one?” Thought Faith as she scanned the aisles of Best Buy.

The Scoobs, plus two; the plus two being Kennedy and herself, had decided to go shopping for stuff to their new home. Giles had managed to get a hand in the funds the Council used to have and they had bought a place. They bought a large school which had dorms, in which the slayerates where going to stay, and the grown-ups bought houses around the area. Buffy and Willow decided to share, not wanting to lose the familiarity they had found a while back. That of course meant Kennedy lived with them too, and Buffy decided to ask Faith to live with them. The once rogue slayer was not sure at first, but Buffy convinced her by saying it was finally they´re chance to be friends, like it was meant to be. Faith really doubted they were meant to be friends, but still, there were very few things she found herself not being able to do, if asked by the blonde.

Dawn had decided to stay in the dorms, since she had made friends among the slayeretes and she also wanted some sort of independence from her sister.

Xander and Andrew, both decided they would stay in the dorms too, Andrew to cook and clean and Xander just in case anything happened.

Robin had his own place, right next to Giles. He had surprised everyone by the full recovery he managed and then even more, by wanting to stay in the fight.

So, here they where, looking for electronics for their place. Willow and Buffy were looking for a microwave and blender and that kind of stuff on the shop next door. While Kennedy and her, where trying to decide which videogame to purchase.

“Hey Faith” Said Kennedy excitedly “We should totally get a Playstation 3”

Faith chuckled and shrugged saying “Might as well,” she continued to scan the games.

“Really?” Asked Kennedy coming back with a Playstation 3 “a Wii?”

“Don’t tell anyone this, but” Faith moved to grab a game and answered smiling “I’m a huge Yoshi fan” she said showing a Yoshi Story game to the other brunette

Kennedy laughed a little “I thought you where into the whole Halo or Unreal Tournament thing or something like that”

“I swear if you tell anyone you’re dead” Threatened Faith as she placed the game in the kart next to the Wii console and Kennedy placed the Playstation 3 next to it.

They continued walking around and picking games for both consoles.

“How much money are we aloud to spend, anyway?” Asked Kennedy

“G-man gave us enough to spend on whatever” She said as she and Kennedy looked at each other and then at the home theater system “Doubt we´ll ever spend it all”

“Might as well?” Quoted Kennedy grinning

Buffy and Willow walked out of the store with two karts filled with electro domestics for their home and found Kennedy and Faith talking to a couple of girls by the parking lot. “Flirting sounds more like it” Thought Buffy bitterly.

Willow walked over to Kennedy and wrapped her arms around her from behind “Hey honey” she smiled sweetly.

Kennedy grinned, loving the possession that the redhead was showing over her “Hey baby, you guys done?” She asked looking over to Buffy and the two karts they had brought over.

“Yeah” Willow answered looking as Buffy asked Faith for the keys forcefully and moved to start getting the stuff in the already half filled trunk.

Faith, for her part, grinned and said “Sorry girls, gotta go” The girls grumbled and a blonde one dared to leaned real close into her and whisper in her ear “Sure you can’t stay with us? You’ll have fun” She ended suggestively.

Buffy tensed “Good thing I have super hearing” She thought sarcastically.

The once rogue slayer looked towards the petite blonde that was loading the car and smiled shaking her head “Sorry, got only one blonde in my mind” She whispered.

Kennedy smirked and noticed how Buffy slowed her movements for a couple of seconds as the girls grumbled and left.

“Let me help you with that” Said Faith walking over to Buffy and helping her load the remaining items.

“You’re friends left?” Buffy grimaced at how jealous she sounded.

Faith chuckled “Sure B, What did you guys buy anyway?”

Willow smiled a knowing smile and turned to kiss her girlfriend before hoping into the car.
