The title of this chapter kinda frightens me.  It also makes me think of cow-tipping. And my high school cross country team. But that's a story for another time.  '...girl’s gotta look good for the cow of her dreams, right?' I don't even know what to say about that line. It's so wrong on so many levels.  I love all the funny in this chapter. The date was kinda the perfect way to really re-introduce Buffy into the story and into Faith's life. They're relaxed, they're telling stories (and was that story about the guy with the vibrator a true story? Cuz that would've been a MUCH better story to have told me than that *other* one... *shudders*  ), there are copious amounts of cow meat to be eaten, and it really (finally) seems like there could be something there between them other than misunderstandings, mixed signals, and violence. Author Feedback: Yeah. It was really nice to get them back into a place where Faith and B can really talk, maybe for the first time ever with those two. Oh, promising moments. So nice. Dammit! Thinking about this makes me want steak! Oh god. Morimoto's. Best. Steak. EVER. And I'll let you know in private if that one is true or not The story you're thinking of, though? I wanted to tell it, but for one I didn't think anyone would believe me, and for two I didn't want to kill everyone's appetite |

awesome update. the date was cool the stories were hilarious. like that they can talk about the past without insulting or hitting each other. Author Feedback: I'm glad you liked the stories! I was worried they were a little over-the-top. And yeah, it's nice to see them all... civilized, with each other. |
