Heh... heh... "Staph Meeting." Punny!

Though my boss had a staph infection in her finger one time. That wasn't so much funny as really gross.

“Lester, lester, child molester.” You're kicking the humorous ew-factor up a notch this chapter, aren't you? Or maybe that's just my overactive imagination taking things to extremes? Or the 'Law & Order: SVU' marathon I watched earlier?

Where was I?

I shouldn't review things late at night.

Wuzzah...? Did Kate and Faith just break up?

But... but... I kinda liked them! They were good for each other. For now.

Great, now the diehard Fuffy lynch mob is gonna come after me along with the Kennedy haters. THANKS, Sam!

Just kidding.

Really liking the Doc. Especially 'cause he thinks he can take Faith. And 'cause Slayer likes him.

But please don't turn him into another Robin type, k? There's only so much of that a Faith fan can take.

Kill him, turn him evil, I'm good with that.

Or, y'know, keep doing what you're doing with him, giving him the voice of reason to help Faith figure out what it is she wants/needs to do with her life. He was talking a lot of sense in that meeting.

I like Hadassah, too. She's fun. Anybody who can bring out the competitive side of Faith is fun. Can't wait to see what Faith'll do to that course once she's in Slayer-shape.

And now it's time for me to go to bed, because there are no more chapters for me to R&R.

Remedy that soon, k?

Author Feedback: You *do* realize that 'Lester, Lester, child molester' was supposed to be a grim cop thing, not actually funny, right?

I'm not sure I would call their conversation the end of Fate. I also think it might mean different things to each of them, and neither one of them are great at putting feelings into words. It feels for Kate like an acknowledgement that she's not the be-all and end-all for Faith, and Faith realizing that, in all reality, she doesn't owe Kate a damn thing. Whether either of those things is true is beside the point, but the nice thing is that they're at least both being at least somewhat realistic about this whole thing. Whether they'll keep going or not, I'm not sure, but at least they both know Faith has choices to make.

I do loves me some Doc, and some Hadassah, for that matter. I don't think he and Robin share any kind of similarities, unless I'm missing something. Both are guys who can put Faith in a more realistic place than she sees herself, true, but (and this is important) I don't see Doc as out to actually change her, more like simply steer her toward coming to work for himself and Buffy.

Hadassah is interesting, and I'm sure she's going to reprise at some point. Hint. Hint. Sleep well.

awesome update. glad kate is being cool about things. they haven't exactly said their together officially. giles and buffy need to step back not push faith so much she' there for two days then she'll make her decision about the job. buffy hasn't actually made it clear what she wants she told faith she needs her but for what? loved faith doing the obstacle course and beating the first time.

Author Feedback: Thanks for the back-feed! I agree with you that Giles and B really need to back off. Right now I think everyone's going a little crazy about having Faith back in their lives and not really being sure where she fits in. They really do want her to wear a lot of hats... We'll see what kind she likes. If she wears one at all. Keep readin'!

I loved the line "Either this is gonna work, or I’m going to be the most spectacular new set of blood spatters on the floor." Hilarious.
I love this story, please continue to feed my ever growing addiction. Another awesome chapter.
