Ya gotta love Angel's old soul advice, to Faith

Only Buffy would creep into someone's room at 4am & wait for them to wake up, just so SHE can talk to them.
But at least she's heeding Soul Boy's advice, wow Buffy apologized to Faith for everything, color me stunned!
This is gonna be long night me thinks, but at least their talking now,
Love that Dawn gave Buffy 411 on Faith, telling her that she really stepped up to the plate, and held down the fort,

I'm not surprised that Faith's mad at Angel, what an earth did he say to Buffy? But I'm glad that Buffy realizes she needs Faith and can recognize that
"I still need you in Sunnydale, Faith, " Yeah you do Buff,

I love seeing Angel & Faith's relationship written through your eyes.

And yeah, Buffy is totally a creeper. Can't blame her though, right? Especially when it comes to her being a creeper and watching Faith sleep lol

So it wasn't the mush-fest I expected, at least not "on paper", which I am grateful for...the Angel/Buffy reunion that is.

Buffy has gone all schzio girl again, but at least this time she's apologizing and admitting that she needs her instead of stone walling Faith. Let's just hope she sticks with this personality for now until she's ready to let out the underlying warm and fuzzies she's got going on

Not sure how I feel about Angel telling Buffy about Faith's life, that should've been something Faith was given the option to share when she wanted and when she was ready. I guess the big dead lump didn't trust her enough to dwelve to much into it, but the sliver lining is at least they are both on they're way back to SunnyD on somewhat amicable terms.

Author Feedback: I so couldn't write the mush fest reunion between Buffy and Angel. I don't wanna see that and nobody else does, so that's probably the main reason why I'm sticking to one POV and that is Faith's, so unless she sees/hears things, then the readers will know more about certain things she happens to mention that is going on/has happened etc.

Let's just say with Buffy, you never know how she's gonna react. She'll even out at one point or another, but she hasn't been back that long at this point so just keep that in mind

True, Faith should be the one telling Buffy about her own life, but Angel had to get through to Buffy somehow when it came to Faith, right?

I'm sure Faith is just dying to know exactly what Buffy and Angel talked about. She handled both conversations well though.

It's interesting that Buffy was the one to step up and that Faith didn't believe her at first. Hopefully, this is a sign of good things to come.

Author Feedback: The things that Angel told Buffy will come to light, just trying to time that specific conversation right as I go through the rest of the stuff that's happening

So good and smart of Angel to encourage Buffy to talk to Faith. He seems to really care about and to be a good friend to both. He appears to know them both so well. I was glad that Faith let him hug her.
It was good to see Buffy decide to initiate the talking as quickly as she does. She seems honest and sincere in her comments. And appears to have a new understanding about Faith and herself as well.

I know that a lot of other readers seem angry at the way Buffy reacted and treated Faith. Now don’t get me wrong – I am a Faith fan all the way. But Buffy just got yanked out of a better place and returned to Sunnydale which she considered Hell without warning or help (until Faith found her). She was confused and probably in physical and emotional pain at her return. She could probably only remember the dark Faith that had tried to hurt them all. But she has obviously listened to Dawn and the other Scoobies as well as Angel who all believe that Faith has changed for the better. She also takes into consideration how Faith has taken care of her and treated her since her resurrection. It is good that she is willing to accept some of the blame for what happened in the past and work with Faith to deal with their problems, their differences.
I’m sure it takes a lot for her to tell Faith that she wants and needs her in Sunnydale with her.

I can also understand Faith’s confusion and disbelief at their conversation and what Buffy is saying, as well as her need to find out exactly what Angel has told Buffy.
I wonder just how much about Faith’s past Angel has told Buffy. And will we find out about it too?

Glad Faith finally spoke out some to Buffy about her own beliefs about what happened between them. And that she spoke to Angel again before deciding whether or not to return to Sunnydale with Buffy. Glad they’re both going back.

The two have a lot more to talk about. Maybe they can talk in the car on way to back Sunnydale from LA. In the car on the way back there’s no where for either to run away and no one to interrupt them. And it would be quite a change and contrast from the trip to LA which was so difficult and during which Buffy was apparently nasty to Faith.

"I still need you in Sunnydale, Faith, regardless of what you think you know about how I feel about you," - Could this be a hint about how Buffy really feels about Faith?

Excellent chapter. Looking forward to another this Sunday/Monday.
Hope for Fuffyness soon.

Author Feedback: Lilly, thank you for pointing out what factors into Buffy's mood and the teeter-totter way she treats Faith. I was really hoping someone else would see that underlying reason, so I'm glad you pointed that out

We will eventually find out what Angel had told Buffy, but only when the timing is right. I gotta stay on track with the plot here and get the engine revving a little quicker at this point (not too quickly, but you'll see what I mean)

You'll see what happens on the car ride back from Sunnydale so you won't be getting anything outta me over that one

And...I can't even say how Buffy feels about Faith at this point, but hopefully you and the other readers will find out in the course of the next couple of chapters--even if it might be rather misleading cos you know, the Fuffyness is definitely coming real soon

Buffy mood changes are drinvin' me nuts. I dont know what to believe anymore, I¡m kinda confused xD

If I were Faith I woulda stayed with Angel, at least for a little while just to bother Buffy. I dont like the way she's treatin' her.

Anyway, I hope they get over their differences and start with the smut

Why yes, it seems like a better thing for Faith to do to stay with Angel for awhile, but then that'd make the whole entire story take a few steps back and we won't be any closer to the Fuffy now, would we

This was a great chapter and well written. Faith's angry/panicky reaction to Buffy's apology was perfect. And the acknowledgement that they would need to continue to talk and it would take time.

I've always enjoyed the stories where Buffy and Faith's reconciliation wasn't easy. When it is slow and hard earned the payoff feels more genuine and satisfying.

I really liked this little insight:

"This reminds me far too much of those visits we had when I was in prison, when we'd talk in circles almost until the answers I was looking for from Angel finally came from me."

Author Feedback: Thanks Rosemont, glad you liked that chapter. It was one of the chapters that had to be rewritten a couple of times just to get it out the right way, so I'm glad I pulled it off, especially the part with Faith's angry/panicky reaction to Buffy's apology

I hope that over the course of the next few chapters, you'll learn to appreciate the fact that why yes, it's slow, it's also gonna take off like a jet pretty damn soon....so to speak

Iguess it is hard to take someone at face value when one day they can't even look at you, and the next thier asking you to stay and saying that they need you! are you going to share your version of faiths background? very good chapter, post soon.

Author Feedback: I will eventually share my version of Faith's background, but it'll have to wait until the time is right for either Buffy or Angel to share what was spoken between them regarding Faith and her past and also what is in the file Giles has on her from the Council as well...

Holy cow that was an intense update!! The whole conversation with Buffy and Faith! Wow I'm really suprised Faith is staying as calm as she has been! I can't even imagaine the stress of it! I really would like to know just what Angel told Buffy!

And Back to Sunnydale they go! Can't wait till next Sunday/Monday! Lol
