Very good updates!!! When will Faith wake up though?!!! Please let it be soon, she's been unconscious for like 4 chapters now, even though it's only been 2 days! Also, loved the interaction between Buffy and Dawn! Please update soon!!! Desperately need to see Faith and Buffy talking and telling each other how much they love each other! I like updates! I'm glad that Buffy is finally admitting her feelings to Dawn. I'm also glad that Giles cameo in this series. Poor Willow is a mess. I hope Tara can get by. We hope Faith wakes up soon! Author Feedback: I'm glad Buffy is admitting her feelings to Dawn, too. I saw this and thought it looked interesting, started reading at 21:30 while at work, it's now 01:19, and I've finished reading all the chapters, and gone on to read "The Buffy Tapes" and I can truly say it has me captivated from start to finish. Glad there's no Spike. Willow blasting Faith outta a window using Dark M, was spectacular, a really well written scene. I definately wanna see Tara step up to the plate, I think she'll do really well, she always did seem more cautious than Red. The Buffy and Dawn sex talk was a nice little touch, reminded me of the moment in S7 when Willow makes the "my girlfriend has a tongue ring" comment to the group, and 10 seconds later you see Dawn's face as she understands what Red, actually said & meant by it, and the whole group looks horrified. I'm glad you made her character more rounded I did hate her in BtVS she was so high pitched & whiny but then again as Ltlconf pointed out she did hava lotta stuff going on. I like Dr. Raine, Faith needs a Joyce/Giles like figure to guide her, I'm pretty sure the shrink time will do her good too. I'm gonna stop down, before my keyboard diahorria drives you crazy, sorry for any typos, am reviewing via my phone. All I can say is PLEASE sir/ma'am can I have some more. Author Feedback: Thanks for the review, F_Electum! I'm glad you are enjoying the story (and Buffy Tapes, too). I never liked whiny Dawn on BTVS, so it's nice to be able to write her as more grown-up. Howdy! I totally buy that scene between Buffy and Dawn. For a bunch SoCal teens (and Buffy a cheerleader no less: not like you have privacy in a locker room!) they were prudes. They could have sex, but not say directly for years!  I still strikes me as odd that they (all of 'em) allow Faith to live in that crappy hotel, isolated, vulnerable to vamps, and surrounded by the best of Sunnydale's petty criminals and wonder why she feels less than appreciated. WHAT ARE THEY THINKING!?  Notice I say "allow," cause I wouldn't care what Faith thought, I'd just drive on up, pack up her meager belongings, and make it a fact. As the Mayor showed, it would work. Last is that Buffy still doesn't get it: THEY killed Finch. How the law sees it, how I as a vet see it, and how my brother the cop sees it. Buffy grabbed, beat, and threw they guy under Faith's stake and then conveniently left the bulk of that info out when telling anyone else. Or at least downplayed it. Not particularly noble. Faith screwed up for sure on trying to pin it on Buffy. But considering the Scoob's actions with Buffy over similar incidents, Faith's background (she 's the kind of kid that's the 'usual suspect' for cops), and Faith's complete lack of faith (no pun) in the Scoob's level of "friendship" with her, she figured (not illogically) they'd protect Buffy but likely throw her to the wolves. Okay, rant over. I am glad though, that Buffy is, if in stages, owning up to her part in Faith's downfall (and Faith has her own crosses to bear to be sure: the prof is all her for one). For this to work, Buffy seems to be getting that Faith HAS to be approached as a FULL equal (technically, Faith is THE Slayer while Buff's got time-in-grade) and all hatchets buried. And Dawn's cool. I like your portrayal of her. Much more well-rounded and fair than most. (Yeup, the Scoobs have NEVER asked Faith's full name or about family, not once. Even before or after sleeping with her. Buffy asked on family, once. We, and they, knew more about one episode walk-ons! Even in the comics I think only Giles had bothered to ask...if only after years, abandoning her as a wanted convict in Cleveland, and all but blackmailing her into being his assassin. These acts show just how little he, and the rest, knew and thought of Faith even after the First and saving Angel. Thank God for fanfic!!!!  )The Cracker! Author Feedback: Thanks, Cracker!  that last conversation between dawn and buffy was so sweet and funny! i can just picture the two of them!  wills panic about getting on the plane felt real, so glad giles made her take the pills. loved the flash back at the mall! well done, very good chapter. hope buffy remembers! i like giles helping willow, and explaining his own fears in order to help her, letting her know that he failed her. though buffys over the top with her reaction to will, it truely is how her chacter in the show tended to be! n ice up-date  ireaqlly like that tara is taking care of dawn, because someone has to! the interaction between giles and dr. raine was cute , maybe romantic? that was awful quick to fall in love, but i love how protective buffys being, and how reflective shes being! great up-date! That's strange. I didn't see the 14th chapter in the "jump to chapter" pull out menu, but I saw reviews for it. It seems like you can only get to it with the "next" button.
