Number 4 and Number 5 in the chaptering system on this site are the same thing. Also Chapters are too short. You could easily have put every one of these chapters into the prologue. Author Feedback: I apologize if you find that upsetting but I have apologized for their shortness. They will get longer as time goes on, or so I hope, but I am doing what feels best in regards to the chapter. I tried making this last one longer but it didn't feel right, as that felt like the right place to end it. |

Damn! I was outlining a story for our RPG background that all but parallels this one: Faith runs from Boston before she's called and her Watcher finds her. She runs into Tara and her mother while they're in town shopping and Faith's caught trying to get money for another bus ticket and get taken in. Freaky. Two differences: Faith was 14 and Tara 16 and it was a F/T 'ship. Had her called at 16 and Tara was leaving for UC-S that year, then her mother dies, so Faith packed her up and they take off. My thinking was seemingly like you, was that Tara's personality, empathy, wisdom, and quietly fierce loyalty would keep Faith on an even keel (satifying the players wanting to keep Faith a good guy, but still 'Faith'). In turn Faith would boost Tara's confidence and get her to be more assertive and outgoing: Tara always struck me as a one of those 'quiet ones' you always hear about! Just needed a push... Seems the 'Willow' player loved the Tara character but prefered the Oz 'ship so this was a compromise. I'm a decent GM and storyteller, but poor fiction WRITER. Not a big B/F shipper (kinda find Buffy a b&*$h by Sn3) but Tara being in this makes up for it big-time. |

That was so... cute, I do hope for more soon. So is Faith going to be like Tara's protector and is Tara going to be Faith's anchor? Are you going to have this follow the Show with when Faith shows up in Sunnydale or when Tara does? Are you going to...  I think that's enough questions for now.Anyway I do hope for more like really really really... *three hours and many 'really's' later* really soon. |
